Girl in a Web is not a book for everyone. I first believed it to be a story of cruelty, but it isn’t. Yes there is a little suffering to create the scene however, this is a story of a girl. A girl through her love of animals is drawn into the murky and little understood world of the protester. From the start it is obvious that the leaders are criminals, using the dedication and love of animals of the young to further their criminal behaviour.

Did I enjoy the book? Well it certainly kept you on your toes and the clever way you sat in each camp was a nice touch. So truthfully yes I did, but you have to like action adventure stories, that gives you edge of the seat reading and an end that I didn’t for one minute expect. However, thinking back the clues were there and I didn’t, until after finishing the book, realise how important they were..
